Off the Streets returns with a series of three races with three very different tracks.

There are three bike categories to enter: Men’s and Women’s Fixed Gear Championship, Any Bike Championship and Wheelie Championship.

At each round, riders in the Fixed Gear and Any Bike Championships will race a Crit, Elimination and Points Race; riders in the Wheelie Bike Championship will race a Wheelie Sprint, Elimination and No Front Wheel race.

Riders will score points based on their finishing position. The rider with the most points in each category will win prizes at each round as well as the overall series competition.

See below to see how each race format works:

RACE FORMATS:

THE WHEELIE SPRINT.

Riders are paired at random in a head to head race over a shortened part of the track. The aim is to cross the line first and take the win. Riders are given a 20m run up zone to start their wheelie and when they cross the designated line the the race is started. Winners score 50 points with losers scoring 0.

THE POINTS.

Races are 20 laps with points on the line every other lap. Points scored are added to your overall total with double points on the line for the final lap. If you take a lap on the field, you are awarded an additional 100 points encouraging a fast and attacking race. Points on the line are awarded as 30 for 1st, 20 for 2nd and 10 for 3rd. Riders are gridded in their current positions with riders on the same points gridded in the position of the previous race.
