GREETINGS DRUMMERS, i hope you are all in the very best of health.

sabianMany Congratulations to Mike Nicholls from Classic Drums Shop here in sunny Bournemouth. Mike has opened a Sabian Cymbal room next to his drum shop in Pokesdown Bournemouth, the cymbal room has just under 100 Sabian cymbals in for you drummers to "try before you buy".

Mike says that with lots of drum shops offering internet business, you really need to try out a few cymbals as you will have a cirtain sound that you will be looking for.In this new cymbal room, you will be able to do that and take your time in choosing the right cymbal.

Mike has the very latest Chad Smith crash cymbals a wopping 20 inch crash for you to have a go on. Plus the Dave Weckl Explosions, Mike says that these are lovely cymbals (so what are you waiting for). Remember to mention Joe Musker at www.offthestreets.co.uk sent you to get a discount.

travis smithWith blistering speed and killer chopsare not all Travis Smith needs to pilot Trivium. Grooves this big requirea drumkit that will stand up to the bands signatureblend of metal-thrash and blast beats.
Travis went in search of a drumkit that would not only lead the way through the power that he needs to drive this band along. He chose Ddrum Dominion's select Swamp Ash shells, create a furious hybrid of musical tone and ear-splitting volume. taking it a step further, Travis combined 9 drums, 4Deccabons, 16 rack pipes and 400 one inch spikes to create The warrior Kit.
A set-up that nightmares are made of for more information on Travis's kit check out the website at
www.ddrum.com/travissmith.php.

The Rhythm magazine has a competition for us drummers we have the chance to win a Ludwig Fab Four Drumkit worth £1,299 This is the replica drumkit that Ringo Starr used while playing for The Beatles (in May's edition). For a chance to win this lovely kit you must pick the correct answer to this question.

Which drummer did Ringo replace in The Beatles

A) Pete Best B) Pete Riley C) Pete sake

If you think you know the answer just get the mag and go to page 66 and 67, the kit looks super. Good Luck

With so many Great Cds on offer at the moment, we are spoilt for choice.
The Doors have a greatest Hits CD out at the moment, this album feature
the drumming talents of John Densmore. The band had a lot of success
with the singles that they released , have a listen to the classic track
Riders on The Storm.
John says that 1967 was a great year for The Doors as they had just
recorded their First Album and Light My Fire was released as a single it
reached Number One in America. We thought we were superstars, we toured
like crazy and we had a great time.

Remo Drumskins, celebrate their 50th Anniversary. It was in 1957 that
Remos Vintage "A" drumskin changed the art of drumming forever. this
drumskin was constructed with 2-ply 75mm and 3mm polyester film. This
was the very first viable alternative to the original Calf skins that
drummers were so used to using
the new drumskins proved to be so popular with all drummers all over the
world that the rest as they say is history. If you have not used a remo
drumskin then i would recommend that you try One out, they give your
drums such a great sound. I have recently changed the drumskins on the 3
drumkits that i have at my youth centre and i am glad to say that they
are all Remo skins, and the drums sound truly amazing
