Hi everyone hope you are all in the best of health

Greetings to  everyone in planet Drum

Is MTV cursed? First it was Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson, then Dave
Navarro and Carmen Electra. I have just heard that Travis Barker the
super drummer has now filed for a divorce from his wife of 22months,
former Miss USA Shanna Moakler. Be on the lookout for Travis Barker on
(+44)'s when your heart stops beating, which features former Blink 182
bandmate Mark Hoppus on bass. Transplants touring guitarist Craig
Fairbaugh and The Nervous Return's guitarist Shane Gallagher. Keep your
chin up Travis and long live Baron Von Tito.

Many cngratulations to the above drummers on playing a blinding display
of drumming at this year's Drumming Live 2006 in support of that great
magazine that we all read called DRUMMER.

A blazing new venue, a hotter than July line-up and you came in your
thousands to hear a million smoking beats being played out around
London's Excel. It can only mean one thing - Drummer Live 2006.
Well before the doors opened, a huge queue had begun to form around this
venue. Such was the eagerness to get into the show.
Once in you were greeted by the very best display from the UK's leading
manufacturers, distributors and retailers with the exhibition hall
rammed to the roof with killer set-ups, newly released products and more
than a bagful of special deals to temt you. Not to mention the many
freebies that almost caused the show to come to a halt on Saturday
morning, such was the demand to grab a handful and get over to the kits
and get a spanking. Drummers of all ages could be found checking out the
exhibits and waiting patiently to get into the Live Stage area, an area
that proved so popular that we have already made plans to triple the
size of the arena for next year's  show. So to avoid disappointment the
players were ready, even if some of them had made long journeys from as
far as Brazil and Japan to be there to perform as Stanton Moore, Aquiles
Priester and Akira Jimbo had. Kicking off the live stage with James
Birt, what followed was two days of drum mayem and madness that had
everyone smiling and laughing at the incredible quality of all the
players performances. Your journey begins here and here's to seeing you
all in 2007 at Drummer Live, the best show on the planet.

This article was taken from the Drummer magazine, Well done to all at
Drummer.
