Good afternoon to all drummers where ever you are in the world, many thanks to the people of Florida who have sent very kind words through my cousin Pat. I mentioned in my last piece that the book that i have had the pleasure of learning my drum rudiments is The Buddy Rich book of Rudiments.

Art of the DrummerI would like to tell you about another Fantastic book, this was written by John Savage and the book is called the Art of the Drummer. This book was written many years ago and i can remember the oerson from a British Music paper reviewing it, he gave it a great review and i would thouroughly recommend it to you all.

The book comes with a C/D as opposed to its original idea of a cassette tape, the C/D will take you through all of the beats and exercises that John has kindly written in this master piece. This book will help you to start learnung how to read drum music and it fully explains the value of the notes etc. You will be able to buy this book online, or in any dumming shop. This again will cost you no more than a drum lesson around £12.00p to £15.00p

BUY IT,  Best of luck

                 Joe Musker
