For those of you who have been lucky enough to get hold of tickets to see The Who in action, you will not be dissapointed as they have the
mighty talents of Ringo's son Zak Starkey on drums. Zak is otherwise
employed by Oasis, just to give those that are not aware of who Zak is.
Ringo used to take Zak to Keith Moons house many years ago when he used
to visit the drum legend, and rumour has it that Keith gave Zak a few
tips on playing the drums, The Who will also feature probably the best
bass guitarist on the planet Pino Palladino, Pino is a top session bass
player and is in such demand as he features on Paul Simon's new album.
It was nice to hear that Nick Hodgson who plays drums for Kaiser Chiefs

It's great to read about the up and coming star drummers of the future,
looking at the selection of albums that were very inspirational to these
young drummers, one bands name keeps cropping up. everyone or nearly
everyone has been inspired by Led Zeppelin and it's easy to see why
these drummers have been inspired as it's down to the mighty John
Bonham.
John Bonhams sound. Often imitated but never matched. Bonzo's massive, open ambient tone on his drums is the holy grail for rock drummers worldwide.
