To all Drummers

I do hope that you are all in the best of health, i was at Poole Percussion the drummers shop last saturday. Paul and Austin let me into a little secret that Steve White ( Paul Wellers ) drummer will be doing a drum clinic here in Westbourne Bournemouth on September 11th. Please make sure that you get your tickets early as it is bound to be a sell out I have reserved 10 tickets as my drumming students are looking forward to this special event.

I met Steve back in 1985, as i co-organised a 36hour non stop drum
marathon to help those youngsters in Liverpool who were suffering from
drug abuse.Drums over the Mersey, helped raise alot of money of which
was given to parent support group's in Liverpool. Steve came down from
London along with his pal Steve Sydelnick who at that time was playing
percussion for Paul Weller. Steve Sydelnick now plays drums for Maddona
and he also works with Annie Lennox, as he is very much in demand.

Steve White's last clinic for Poole Percussion was a long time ago, so
be prepared for a very busy night. Steve is not just one of the nicest
people you could meet in the music business but also very generous. He
gave me a drumkit to help youngsters with special needs/ learning
difficulties, the drumkit has made such a big difference to the members
that use the kit as they know it belonged to Steve.

Steve is also a in demand drummer on the session and clinic circuit, i
do hope to see you there. make sure that you contact Paul, Austin or
Chris at Poole Percussion as tickets went on sale today Monday 19th
June.
