Hello Drummers

I would like to give you a warm welcome to my drumming page first of all many congratulations to Dave Grohl and his lovely wife on the birth of their daughter, mother and daughter are doing well and i believe Dave is getting used to changing nappies, well i suppose it makes a difference to changing drum heads.

dave grohlI am sure you are all aware who Dave Grohl is, as he provided the mighty drumming for Nirvana, playing the lovely beats to smells like teen spirit, and nevermind etc. I have always enjoyed listening to Dave's drumming, and i love the work he did with Queens of the stone age. Dave also plays the guitar and i believe he played drums and guitar on The Foo Fighters first album, what a star.

I would like to give you a brief overview of the company Protection
Racket, the best drum cases you will find on this planet. The company is
based in Cornwall and they used to make covers for,you guessed it surf
boards and wind surfs. The company started off in 1994 and they have won
many awards for their beautiful drum and cymbal cases

The awards were voted by the readers of that great drumming magazine
Rhythm, if you can get hold of this mag it is full of information,
interviews and tip's on getting you better on the drums. I would
recommend this magazine to you as i have been getting it delivered to my
house for ten years now, well worth the money plus in every copy you
will find a C/D with tutorials and lessons. Great value.

The company even do cases on wheels to make it easier for us the
drummers, why not check out their website at
www.protectionracket.com.

If you want to check out the new drumkits on the market, get down to
Poole percussion. Introduce yourselves to the very friendly staff and
say that Joe Musker has asked us to come and you will be well looked
after. The same applies to Classic Drums in Pokesdown.

If you would like to come to my youth club and have a go on the drumkit
that was donated by Steve White from Paul Wellers band, just turn up and
i will make sure that you enjoy your night with us at Linwood Youth
Centre 131a Alma Road Winton Bournemouth or give me a ring on
01202/528514 we are open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7.00pm
till 9.30pm.

I hope you are enjoying the nice weather here and i'll look forward to
giving you more drumming news soon

yours for better drumming  Joe Musker
