Hi and welcome to my information page for you drummers, first of all i would like to say what a great pleasure it was for me to work with the drummers at The Set to Stun gig at The Opera House just over a couple of weeks ago. The drummers involved played very well and it was a very well organised event special thanks to Laura for asking me to work with you all.

opera houseThank you to Mike Nicholls from Classic Drum Company for the loan of the drumkit, i hope it arrived back at your shop in good working order. If any of you drummers out there would like to buy anything from Classic Drums please mention the fact that we work together under the baseline organisation and you will recieve a large discount.

Special thanks to Paul, Austin and Chris from Poole Percussion in Parkstone for, very kindly donating a Pacific snare drum. I used the snare drum as first prize for a raffle as myself and my son James along with ten of my students were raising much needed money for the Breast Cancer Unit at Poole Hospital, I am glad to tell you all that the Drumming 4 Life drum bash raised a staggering £625 for Three and a half hours of drumming. Thanks again to you all at Poole Percussion, dont forget if you go to the shop just tell the boys that Joe Musker sent you and you will recieve a discount.

opera housePlease do yourselves a favour by buying The Rhythm magazine as this months issue features a big interview with the American band Tool, their drummer Danny Carey tells it just like it is . Being on the road with this very successful band and everything you would like to know about the new album 10,000 days.

The magazine is also full of drumming info on your favourite drummers like Chad Smith,Simon Phillips John Dolmayan from System of a Down plus a couple of play along tracks by System of a Down and Dire Straits ( sultans of swing) both tracks have drums and there are two tracks of the same groups that don't have drums so play along as loud as you can.

I will have to get back to work but i will write some more tomorrow lunch time.
